This is the New York production plant for the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. An existing warehouse is rejuvenated with new interventions deployed to suit the client’s programmatic needs.

The resulting atmospheric effect is a purposeful misfit. New and old spaces are unified by a continuous layer of white to create a curious and multilayered space that is the perfect canvas for Kaikai Kiki New York and its creative fabrication of culture.
