Next week, HWKN’s Matthias Hollwich will speak as a panelist at Brooklyn’s Rally To Reopen event. Speaking on the topic of ‘Brooklyn’s Office Makeover’, he will address the emergence of the hybrid work model and how the industry can plan to attract tenants post covid-19. The event will include discussions highlighting how development can be utilized to revive neighborhoods and the smart growth of Brooklyn’s industrial rise.
Make sure and join us in person on July 29 bright and early for Brooklyn’s Rally to Reopen. Come swing by our table to chat with our team and learn more about our recent innovations. Some of our catalyst projects include:
Die Macherei
As the design architect of Die Macherei, it is incredibly exciting to watch our design come to life. Die Macherei features experiences welcoming a variety of tenants including the revolutionary hospitality hotel from Scandic, the hip-hop inspired sports club, John Reed Fitness, and Design Office, with its trans-disciplinary work spaces.
25 Kent
Our 500,000 sf office building in Brooklyn, New York secured Amazon Music, the company’s latest expansion in New York’s office market as well as tenant, fashion brand KITH with a 64,500 sf lease. A retail-lined pedestrian avenue punched through the middle creates a lively social core, transforming the building into a social campus that connects entrepreneurs and innovators directly with the community.
Bushwick Generator
We are designing an exemplary 400,000 sf office campus in Brooklyn, New York, that is as energetic as the companies that will reside inside. We are preserving the light industrial buildings that existed on the site as part of the foundation, and creating a vertical icon to serve as a wayfinding structure and define an unforgettable experience for all.
