“Berlin feels both deeply familiar and endlessly surprising. As someone who grew up in Germany, it’s a place I’ve returned to again and again, not just physically, but creatively. There’s a rawness to it, a sense that anything is possible, which has always fueled my imagination.” – Matthias Hollwich

Michelberger Restaurant

I appreciate how this space turns an unfinished industrial shell into something functional and inviting. The contrast between exposed walls and warm interior details captures a very Berlin attitude toward design by embracing what’s there and building onto it.

Clärchens Ballroom

I’ve always liked how this place embraces its age. The ballroom hasn’t been overly restored, you can see and feel its history on every surface. It reflects the kind of layered beauty that makes Berlin special.

The Alchemist Berlin

This bar feels carefully staged, dark, atmospheric, and highly designed. Every detail is intentional, but it still leaves room to just enjoy the experience. It’s theatrical without being overwhelming.

UY Studio

This space’s raw white walls and precise minimalism mirror the brand’s aesthetic. It’s an example of fashion and architecture speaking a unified, monochrome language.

Portão de Brandemburgo

This gate is both a monument and meeting place. You feel its neoclassical grandeur and the weight of history every time you pass through.
