Marc at TED: The Future of Architecture
When TED invited HWKN co-founder Marc Kushner to present at the 30th anniversary of TED, Marc decided on delivering a thought provoking 18-minute crash-course in the last 30 years of architecture history. With TED and Simon Schuster, Marc took the conclusion of that talk and projected about the future of architecture in a new book called The Future of Architecture in 100 Buildings.
You can watch the talk here — and buy the book here — but the central message is that we are entering into a golden age of architecture largely because of the changing media landscape surrounding buildings. Because of the proliferation and increasing speed of media, more people care about architecture and are demanding better buildings!
